The Perfect 4-Door Ford Bronco Big Bend Off-road Build

Thanks to the efforts of the Ford’s designers, the modern Bronco became an incredibly good-looking SUV even if it’s a base model in stock configuration. But with a handful of aftermarket upgrades it can become an absolute stunning 4×4 even the Jeep fans would love to own.
Yet, with thousands of Bronco owners eagerly modifying their rigs, not all of the builds turn out to be equally impressive. But I think we’ve found one of the most stylish-looking builds out there. Read on to find out it’s recipe!

ToggleThe Bronco Build
Austin Swan from Tampa, Florida made a bunch of upgrades and mods both inside and out to build an off-road capable and distinctively looking rig.
The looks of the rig make people really turn heads! The aesthetics including the color scheme and carefully handpicked parts show an excellent taste of the owner and made the build worth our and your attention. Dive in with us into the details!

Suspension
The main star of the suspension upgrades list is the Dobinsons IMS coilovers. They ensure a solid 3-inch lift that makes an already off-road capable Bronco even better on challenging terrain.
These coilovers are well-known for keeping the ride quality high, while still increasing the clearance drastically and allowing some adjustability. The IMS (Independent Multi-Stage) technology offers progressive spring rates making both on and way off-the-pavement-rides a blast.

Wheels
One of the most visibly notable changes made by Austin is an awesome 37-inch tire setup. It includes 37×13.5 Gladiator X Comp A/T tires wrapped around 17-inch Thret Off-road Firewall 702 wheels.
A -12mm offset is also a part of the combination allowing to widen the tracks a bit and make the Bronco look even more beefy.

Exterior
The exterior of the Bronco has got the most attention from the owner in terms of the mods and upgrades. He’s added lots of function-oriented accessories for long trips to the middle of nowhere and back that also contribute to the overall look of the rig.

The vehicle comes with hardtop and roof rack system, both by Armadillo Designs to accommodate additional gear and carbon fiber hard shell rooftop tent made by Inspired Overland to accompany the two. As any rig that gets some off-road use, the Bronco features Smitty Built winch paired with Rough Country winch mount to make any possible unexpected issues easier to handle.
The Barricade tube doors sourced from Extreme Terrain ensure improved airflow and visibility while Gearshade limb risers provide higher brush protection.

Lights
To keep the road ahead clear and visible, the Bronco has Project X Offroad Series X HP.85 lights along with KC fog lights installed. Together, they work perfectly to ensure both long-distance trail lighting and improved visibility in dust or fog conditions as well as at night. Plus, mounted in different spots, they enlighten areas both near and far from the vehicle for the eye to catch everything.

Based on our off-road capability rating it scores 60 out of 70 points possible thanks to the combination of functional upgrades like the Dobinsons IMS coilovers and massive 37-inch tire setup. Plus, wisely selected exterior add-ons for the build that’s as impressive to look at as it is to drive off-road.
