Nissan Patrol has got a huge following on the middle east. It’s probably the most important market for this model. It’s big, powerful and does just great on the sand.
I’ve also seen a lot of insane performance modifications, with custom twin-turbo kits that make Patrol give out up to 1000hp.
Even though they were not officially sold in the USA, Patrols pop-up on classified from time to time, perhaps thy were brought to the US through Canada, If I am not mistaken this body style goes for 5-10k depending on the condition. Knowing how diverse the automotive culture in Cali, I am sure there are Patrol owner clubs there.
There models with RB26DETT turbo engines from Skyline GT-R, I would definitely choose Patrol over the Skyline with that much power.
